Congratulations to George Beacroft of Chelmsford RYC on winning, for the first time, the Corden Cup hosted by Harwich & Dovercourt MYC on Sunday 10th July. One issue that needs to be addressed is that of skippers only doing their penalty turns when called by an observer. If you know you have committed an infringement, even if it is not called by an observer, you are obligated to do a penalty turn. Failure to do so could lead to disqualification if the infringement is subsequently protested.
