‘Numb Thumbs’ Winter Series

The first round of the ‘Numb Thumbs’ Winter Series Open Event for IOM boats, took CHF Marksaplace at Coalhouse Fort on Sunday 24th November 2013. Whilst it was overcast, there was no rain and the wind was consistent and primarily from a northerly direction.

The course was a triangle with a sausage providing some very close racing with four skippers winning at least one race.

However, Buzz Coleman with six wins was the eventual winner on 19 points, with Malcolm Schaffer/Vernon Appleton second on 26 points and Colin Goodman third on 30 points.
